What is a anthology?
An anthology is a collection of works assembled into a single print format.What is the theme of this anthology?
This anthology will focus on the relationship of He Xuan and Shi Qingxuan before and after the main events of TGCF with an angsty bend related to water, wi nd, fates, and drowning.Is the zine for-profit?
No. In accordance to JJWXC's policies, the zine will operate in P4P format.What is P4P?
P4P stands for "pay for production". Customers will only be paying for the price required to produce the goods and ship them to the end buyer. The final bundle price will also include the production cost of contributor copies of each item as thanks to them for sharing their glorious talents with us.Will NSFW content be allowed?
No. This zine is strictly SFW. Given the nature of the original series, certain NSFW themes—death, gore, violence—are inevitable within canon parameters; however, any sexual content is prohibited.Do I need zine experience to apply?
No experience is required.Can I apply if I am a minor?
No. Only adults born before 2007 may participate as a contributor or buyer.What country do you ship from?
Individual Orders will be shipped from the US. International Group Orders may be shipped from china depending on volume and circumstance.

Application Guidelines

General Guidelines

1. Applicants must be 18 years old before the end of the application period of the role you are applying for.2. Applicants will NOT be judged based on the ships or content they create for outside of the zine. However, if accepted, applicants are expected to create a piece adhering to the character, ship, and theme requirements of the zine.3. Engaging in any of the below is grounds for immediate rejection of an application. Discovery of any of the below after zine acceptance is grounds for removal from the zine:
     - Homophobic, sexist, racist, transphobic, or other bigoted behavior
     - Harassment of any kind
     - Use of generative AI
     - Plagiarism or theft

WRITERS

  • Please submit a portfolio link containing 3 samples.

  • Each sample should be between 1.5k - 2k words.

  • At least one sample must be standalone and complete.

  • At least one sample must be a TGCF fic. A focus on Beefleaf is recommended but not required.

  • Samples must be rated M or lower. Canon-typical violence and emotional themes are acceptable. Suggestive romantic or sexual content is acceptable, but should err on the side of T rated.

  • Use of generative AI is strictly prohibited and is grounds for immediate disqualification.

  • We recommend submitting a Google Drive link containing your samples.

  • A portfolio link to an AO3 account that does not meet the portfolio requirements will be disqualified.

  • Downloading an already posted fic from AO3 as a PDF and uploading the PDF file as one of your submissions is acceptable.

  • We highly discourage linking to social media websites like Twitter, Tumblr, etc for your portfolio or sample. Mods may not have accounts on the site you linked, and if we cannot access your link we will not grade your sample.

  • Please make sure all links are working and visible. Mods are NOT responsible for inaccessible or broken links.

  • Please make sure to click SUBMIT when done.

Merch Applicants

  • Please submit one portfolio link containing 5 - 7 samples.

  • Merch experience is not required. If you have not created physical merch before, we recommend submitting artwork that is designed with a merch item in mind. Consider submitting samples that could apply to the merch items you are interested in creating for the zine.

  • At least one sample must be a merch design. As stated above, it is okay if this design is a mock-up and has never been physically produced.

  • At least one sample must be TGCF artwork. Beefleaf examples are recommended but not required.

  • Please make sure all links are working and visible. Mods are NOT responsible for inaccessible or broken links.

  • Please make sure to click SUBMIT when done.

  • If accepted, merch artists will be assigned to design 1-2 items.
